     Muriel Isabelle Alderdice was born in Hardisty, AB on October 24, 1929 to Joe & Annie Alderdice. She married Leonard Korth on November 8, 1951 and had three daughters, Ann, Irene and Patricia. Muriel and Leonard lived in the Battle Bend area south of Hardisty until moving to Sedgewick in 1965. They remained in Sedgewick until 2000 when they moved to Camrose. Muriel passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Camrose, AB on January 31, 2019 at the age of 89 years.
     She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Leonard; daughters Ann (Eugene) Bilyk of Camrose, Irene (Gord) Freeman of Fort Saskatchewan, and Trish (Murray) Delisle of Fort Saskatchewan; six grandchildren, Dennis (Jen) Bilyk of Edmonton, Myra (Colby) Marshall of New Norway, Scott (Brandy) Freeman of Grande Prairie, Kelcey (Jamie Robertson) Freeman of Edmonton, Paige Delisle of Sherwood Park, and Layne Delisle of Fort Saskatchewan; five great-grandchildren, Samantha, Erika, Lyric, Gabriel, and Georgia; one sister, Mary Russell of Sedgewick: one brother, Allan (Ann) Alderdice of Lethbridge; as well as a host of family and friends.
     Muriel was predeceased by her parents, eight brothers and one sister; as well as granddaughters Shauna and Alysha.


    A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Camrose, AB with Father Jacques Vailancourt presiding.  Cremation has taken place.  Inurnment will take place on a later date at the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery.


    Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or to the charity of one's choice.
