On March 12, 1948 she married Paul H. White, who survives her. For the next forty years she was active in the Women’s Missionary Service Group, making quilts to raise money for relief efforts over-seas, singing with a group from Holyrood at Extendicare Nursing Home every week, volunteering at Ten-thousand Villages for ten years, and practicing hospitality to out of town visitors to Holyrood as well as other traveling Mennonites needing lodging. She was dedicated to raising a family and to being a support for her husband as they served in various churches. Her hobbies included reading, growing beautiful flowers, playing scrabble and doing cross-word puzzles.
