Raising a family and working with Dad on the farm as well as holding down a full-time job as a teacher for 30+ years kept her busy.  Mom never had idle hands.  She was an excellent seamstress, knitter, crocheter, quilter, darned many socks, and patched jeans as well as combine canvas.

She was active in church as a Sunday School teacher, Ladies Aid, Luther League and cooking and baking at the Manitou Bible Camp in Saskatchewan.  She was also active in the community in the 4-H Beef Club, 4-H Sewing Club, Senior’s Sunshine Club, Light Horse Riding Club, Museum and Agricultural Society.

Mom and Dad enjoyed riding horses and taking us kids camping and fishing in the summer.

She will be dearly missed by her family but we all know that she is now in heaven with Jesus..

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Good News Community Church in Ryley, AB. Interment will follow at the Ryley Cemetery.
