Alfred Lehmann beloved husband and father passed away after a lengthy illness at the age of 78 years.
He was born February 5, 1941 in Schulzendorf, Germany. He emigrated to Canada in 1968. He met his wife Arlene in Cassiar, British Columbia and in June 1975 they married in Spring Lake. They returned to Cassiar for a few years and then settled in Langley, British Columbia. For the next 30 years, Alfred pursued his career in long distance trucking and formed his own company and was forced to retire at the age of 70 years. Arlene and Alfred moved to Daysland in 2013.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Arlene; daughter Desiree; his sister Dorothea; brothers-in-law Jim Stefanishion, Duane (Jane), Rick (Jill), Michael (Lori); sisters-in-law Joan Hill (Tom), Debie Bevington (Brian), MaryAnn Petherich, Shelly Stefanishion, Vonnie Stefanishion and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother Maria Lehmann in 2008 and his father Kurt in 1939.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church in Daysland. Interment will follow at the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Daysland Health Foundation or to Providence Place.
