Obituary of Paula Noseworthy
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Paula Noseworthy announce her passing on July 31, 2022, at the U of A Hospital in Edmonton Alberta at the age of 56 years.
Paula was diagnosed with a Liver and Kidney failure and fought a very long and courageous battle.
She will be sadly missed by her Spouse Danny Morris of Camrose, Alberta, her Son Nathan (Nancy) Drachler St. John’s NL, Parents Malcolm and Jean Noseworthy, Bishop Falls, NL, Her Grandmother Alma Noseworthy, Pouch Cove, NL. Sisters: Darlene (Dave) Case, Petawawa, ON, Robyn Noseworthy (Kendall Adams) Goose Bay, Labrador, Kelly (Shawn) Winters, Bishop Falls, NL, Her grandchildren: Anastasia, Jasper, and Autumn Drachler. Daughter in Law: Kimberly (Shane) Christiansen of Stony Plain Alberta Also, a large circle of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Family and Friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents Mary and Bill Hussey, Grandfather Wilson Noseworthy, Her Aunt Roz Sullivan and Uncles Gary Hussey and Keith Noseworthy.
Paula was one for the love of the outdoors, she loved the ocean, beaches and she loved Newfoundland in general where she had planned on moving back and taking Danny with her. She always said ”there was no better place then Newfoundland and that is where I want to be”. She loved her family and always concerned about what they were up too or where they were at now. Her grandchildren where her lifeline and she couldn’t wait to move back to Newfoundland to be closer to them, and to finally meet her youngest grandchild.
The Family would like to thank the U of A Hospital, the ICU staff, Liver transplant team, Kidney transplant team, all the nurses and doctors that took great care of Paula while she was there. Words can not express how grateful our family is for all you have done.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paula’s memory can be made to Liver and Kidney Foundation, U of A Liver Transplant Department or Organ Donor Foundation
Cremation has taken place, and arrangements to bring her home to Newfoundland to be laid to rest in Pouch Cove, NL will be announced at a later date.
